  • An Important Message to Our Valued Customers Regarding Phone Scam

    Some Capital BlueCross customers have reported receiving automated phone calls, claiming to represent Capital BlueCross or all BlueCross and BlueShield companies, that are not legitimate calls from Capital BlueCross or from BlueCross and BlueShield companies. Specifically, these automated calls request that you: 1) contact your BlueCross provider to receive a new medication for chronic pain, or 2) enter a number on your phone keypad to receive a prescription for a new pain medication available in cream or gel form. These calls are not authorized by Capital BlueCross, and they are not affiliated with any BlueCross and BlueShield company. To protect your personal information, please disregard and do not respond to phone calls of this nature.
