  • Capital BlueCross Collaborates with St. Luke’s University Health Network to Offer New Health Plan for Large Employers

    Harrisburg, Pa. – Capital BlueCross today announced it is collaborating with St. Luke’s University Health Network to offer an Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) health insurance plan for employers with 51 or more employees. The new plan connects customers with the high quality benefits and services of Capital BlueCross and the renowned doctors and hospitals of St. Luke’s clinically integrated network.

    The partnership between Capital BlueCross and St. Luke’s University Health Network is designed to bring customers the highest standard of care, while lowering out-of-pocket and chronic care costs. For large employers, it offers the ability to customize their plan to meet the needs of their employees.

    Capital BlueCross’ EPO plan in collaboration with St. Luke’s will include:

    • Collaboration between Capital BlueCross care guides and St. Luke’s doctors to lead EPO members to better health, while lowering costs
    • Freedom to see a provider within the EPO network without a referral
    • Rewards for employees when they participate in Capital BlueCross’ Healthy Rewards Program
